Page Navigation

Psychology is the study of human behaviour, performance and the human mind. At its core, it helps us understand how the body and mind work together. This can help a person make better decisions, navigate stressful situations, interact with others in a more positive manner, and gain empathy for others. The insights you gain into aspects of human behaviour will help you gain a better understanding of yourself.

What is the structure of the course?

A Level Psychology explores a number of key topics which are then assessed in 3 written exams of two hours each in length at the end of Year 13.

The course content includes:

  • Social Influence
  • Attachment
  • Memory

  • Biopsychology

What skill/requirements are essential?
